IMO sleeper class should have been more given that the target audience for this train prefers SL. For trains like rocket yes 6 3A or its equivalent sounds good.
Instead of the two 3E coaches, they could have added 2 sleeper coaches to make it 10 SL. I have seen both Matsyagandha Exp & the pairing train of 16347/16348 sleeper coaches always crowded. Earlier overall SL capacity was 790 which has now reduced to 640 !!
The production of SL is less and more number of 3ACE are being manufactured and this RSA pairs getting 8 SL is way better then 6 or 7 SL in many trains after increasing GS to 4 in LHB trains from November. Overall capacity of the train in reserved classes has not decreased.
AC manufacturing is just 20%.By year end we may have fill up the deficit of non ac coaches
Agree but what I feel is target audience of matsyagandha is more different than that of rocket and sleeper class should do good for this train. That's why.
