Mathiselvakumar~ 200 blog postsThere is an increasing demand for operating a duronto between MAS-CSTM sector. Since all 3 dailies in this route are operated by CR, SR has to take initiative.
It would be better if it is an AC duronto. As 12163/64 is operated in 23 hrs the duronto can be operated in 16/17 hours with one or two technical halts.

I heard that one of the financial committee had submitted a report to RM to convert all the technical halts as commercial halts.
I hope RM will revise this worst duronto concept and worst livery.

I am seriously unsure of 5 trains but a comlete daily AC Express with very limited halts will be very very good in this route
Over the last 40 years , there have been only 3 trains connecting Mumbai & Chennai. It is high time to start a Duronto service between Mumbai & Chennai if not Shatabdi. This is again based on the leave that people get from their organizations to discover the Southern Region in the country with their families and educate their children and enjoy and learn more about Incredible India.
duronto will not be benifit for people for intermediate stations better option is SF or GR with limited halts,also this route contains many remote area also ,rake reversal,engine change also there
3 daily trains always in Waiting list for next 4 months... CR,SR can introduce more trains in this rote.... at lease 2 new trains....daily
