parag2615 643 blog postsMy friends wished to traveled from Mysore to Bangalore. hence I checked the availability in 12008 Shatabdi from MYS to SBC on 2/1/13 for 3/1/12. I was surprised by the availability. It was 224 in CC. Is this train a "White Elephant"? Plz clarify>

Mysore to SBC may be bit free but runs packed between SBC-MAS.
There was even a proposal for 3rd Shatabdi between MAS & SBC for last year budget but got converted to DD. Thanks.
1) It leaves in afternoon which is somewhat inconvenient and impractical for daily commuters who travel to and fro for their work

I too see in mysore it'll be 30-40% empty but from SBC-MAS, it'll be full.
