For 29th August 2010, III A/C position from Hyd to NDLS is at present WL 13, if I book today (16.08.2010) will I get confirmed berth or I can wait and book through TATKAL.

If Tatkal Quota of 52 not filled then the WL passengers will be given preference or how?
Thatkal Quota never gets unfilled in normal cases. However, High Official Quota and some disabled quota sometimes remains vaccant.
Then is it advisable to cancel the ticket and book under Tatkal or

Its better you hold on present ticket and try thatkal, if that gets confirmed, cancel the present one.
