Grievance Description : The slope road to Karmali station is one of the worst ever roads seen. It is difficult to get down the slope to the railway station. it is full of pot holes and small rocks. It is because of this reasons that buses do not come down to Karmali station. Roads in entire Goa is quite well maintained and since the ownership of land falls under KR, the approach road is just in total mess. The approach road needs to be urgently recarpeted so that the tourists and other passengers can enjoy a comfortable travel.

Details : The party has been advised by Shri U.P.L. Das, General Manager (Admin.), Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd. vide his letter No. CO/G/PG/2012 dated 05/12/2012 that the approach road at Karmali Station condition becomes bad during Monsoon. However, the road repair work will be taken up on priority and the work will be completed within a period of three months from its commencement.

……..and yes the slope approach road to Karmali Railway Station has be carpeted and it is beautiful. This is a perfect example of how a GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL FORUM has to work on.
