I've booked a ticket in Haridwar-Ahmedabad Mail/19106 train 8 days ago from Old Delhi to Ajmer.At that time waiting list was 60+,now almost 25.Today I just checked seat availability from shahdara(DSH) which is only 20 minutes away from Old delhi.Even today RAC are available.I couldn't understand.Is seats fixed station wise.If I book a ticket from shahdra in RAC would that have more chances to get confirmed than 20+ waiting from Old Delhi or just the opposite?
