If I Book my reservation from NEW DELHI , can I board the train from Bhopal , if yes please explain me the procedure , is it first I book the ticket and then inform authorities , I am in Chennai , Can this request be made on WEB also through IRCTC site
yes you can after booking the ticket.. Approach the PRS with a request to change BP at least 24 hrs prior to the journey.. Same with e-ticket also.. For change of BP you will be needed to approach PRS..
Yes you can. Just go to any of the PRS counter ( from where you can buy reserved rail tickets) and ask them about 'boarding point change form'. Fill the form and along with your ticket reserved ticket and ID card show it to the officer at reservation counter.. he'll sign it and will allow you to change the boarding point.. but do it before 24 hrs departure of train from originating station
Will I get an acknowledgement from PRS , which I can show to TTE , and will this change show in the chart too
they will amend it in ticket with a pen.. Thats the only endorsement..
