Hi,
I am not sure why IR has given this train as superfast tag. if i compare its second half journey i.e from vadodara to pune
it departs from vadodara @ 21.53 and reaches pune at 8:05AM, while a simple express train for eg kolhapur express (TN:1049) which depart from vadodara @21.53 and reaches pune 8.00 AM. So my question is that if an ordinary train takes same time as superfast then why we are paying extra superfast charge.

I know yaar only Trivandrum rajdhani and Vadodara overtake this train, but this train shares the same time as 2 other trains(1049 and 9312). It is for ease of operation for Railways that they have put all the 3 trains in the same time on different days. As suggested by another blogger, they can make the timings in the same slot as Marusagar Express. Also Pune Duronto leaves Vadodara at same time and reaches Pune at 7:20 am. So thay can maybe match the timings with Pune Duronto between Vadodara and Pune.
