Timings can be tweaked so as to depart MAJN at 17:00 and reach CSTM at 07:00.
In the return direction it can leave CSTM at 18:00 to reach MAJN at 08:00.

In the coming budget KR will have 2-3 new trains and out of that one is almost sure Mumbai-Trivandrum (via Kottayam) either Weekly or Bi-Weekly SF express.
Highly unlikely considering the fact that the DR-TEN weekly superfast is yet to start running!
This train DR-TEN was actually proposed as DR-TVC but was announced via PGT because of some twist and turns that occurred at Delhi before budget.
who needs to take census of mangalore .Majority people travel between mao and cstm and i think the timings should be convinient for madgaon
Then don't pass baseless comments. If you think atleast less than 80% of the pax alighting at MAJN are Mangaloreans,then you need to come to MAJN and see the truth for yourself.
