RailFans don't miss their train. Why? Because they go to the station HOURS before the actual departure of their Train - to watch OTHER trains depart. - Prince Maan

A quite a Funny Incident happened with me last Month while Traveling on 12267/ Mumbai-Ahmadabad Duronto. I with 2 of my Colleagues Boarded the Train at around 10:55 PM as soon as it halted at the platform from the shed at BCT. Our berth's were A2 21,22,23. A gentleman came and asked me that A2 21,22 are allotted to him. I asked him to show me his ticket to cross-check. I checked the date which was same, checked the berth and coach which were same as he was claiming. Puzzled I then checked the destination which was INDB.
Then I realized he has boarded the wrong train as INDB Duronto/12227 was standing on another platform (All Duronto's looks same due to

the unique paint). It was 11:07 at that time and I asked him to rush to PF#2 fast as departure time was 11:15.
BCT being a terminus station helped him as he hadn't had to climb staircase. He rushed and boarded the train :-)

Long back one such incident happened with my dad's friend at VSKP. I think it was about 6003 / 6004 MAS / HWH mail. Both train used to arrive at same time at VSKP. That uncle got into the train and got in the seat. The train moved on. He slept happily after getting in the train. At RJY he woke up and saw the Godavari river. He has to alight the train soon after that. He missed the train to HWH and luckily those were times when there was no much fights for seats in this train. He went to HWH in the next day train. I think as far as I remember its a story of 1997 - 98.
