it is one of the worst train in indian history ever
this train is baseless, useless and burden on indian railway.ferozpur janta express is also worst as amritsar exp.
i have travelled when i was child and when i reached my destination agra i thought i have won in war.

dude...dont travel by this train then...u hav many trains 2 travel from mumbai to madhya pradesh..but plz dont call this train useless....it provides a basis of express transportation of all such places where all trains dont stop...think of all the places where people wait hours only 4 a train.....these train r lifeline of india...they mayb unimportant but rnt useless......imagine whr u stay in M.P..if there wernt any trains which stop at ur station....then how u'd travel 2 mumbai then....
@guest: re# 6625my dear friend you are absolutely right it stops in such places where other train does not stop but you can imagine of those people who stay at mumbai and want to reach amritsar or other place in punjab ,those people reach after such a long hour with such discomfort given by the people. if places are not given to those people they become abusive and behave very badly with those who have reservations seat ,i have seen this with my eye while travelling. it is the responsibilty of rail government to start passenger train for those peole who stay at small rural areas. why to give problems for people who have to travel long. i have my full sympathy for people of madhaya pradesh.this train is the last option but sometimes you dont get reservation in good trains then helplessly we have to use...

This train z not only loved by MP but also we maharastrians 2....we the people residing in BSL division gets this train from Mumbai...this train z also use ful for many MST holders...the fact z it has very much less coaches...almost 15...out of this 2 AC 8 SL 1 RMS 2 SLR 2 GN....this z a very old train on this route please don' call it a USELESS..it it has so ...then railway doesn't run that trin from last 25 years ...DAILY..THANK U

if you really want to travel from mumbai to norther india like delhi amritsar etc you have trains like Paschim Express or Golden Temple Mail. they are sf trains and are basically meant to cater big stations and mumbai passengers. regarding this train , well you need some express for intermediate passengers to travel long distance , otherwise they have to board a passenger go to some big station and then catch some sf which is not always feasible option, so these sort of trains are needed not for mumbai - amritsar but to cater needs of smaller stations
