hello frens,yesterday i found a tricky solution for a problem that arise frequently
actully i had booked a tatkal ticket where i entered wrong id no.(just a slight error of numeric value).i was worried till the time i reached station.but i was so pleased to see that on chart there was no mention of id proof type and no.then i was smart enough to log into irctc then received a msg as ticket which also does not id proof type and no.The TTE came, i showed msg and id,he did not say anything and it was all over.

TATKAL ticket..
When ur name comes on chart there wont be any mention about the type of ID.
OOnly what it comes on the chart is the LAST 5 digits of your ID proof

Well there was nothng at all about the id no,not even a single digit.
