Gardens are maintained at Panskura Station on SER
SER 's Panskura Jn. has some nice gardening done within the station premises which is maintained by the railways itself. To the left of the picture is Platform no -1 which is used by freight trains coming from and heading towards Haldia.

Good one Mr. Garg. I used to pass this regularly when I was shuttling almost daily between HWH and KGP during 2005-2008. For an entire 30 kms stretch between Deulti and Haur, the countryside on the left was dotted with a large number of fields were FLORICULTURE was resorted to on a massive scale. Lotus ponds, hibiscus and marigolds were the main attractions in season and flowers to the Kolkata market are still supplied from these areas. The wholesale flower market in Kolkata is at Jagannath Ghat, located bang opposite Howrah Station just before the ascent to the Howrah Bridge.
