I have traveled a lot of times in 2s class but TTE has never come to check.actually it does not like a reservation coach and perhaps they don't want to get messed up on it.

It varies from train to train. But in most of them proper checking is a usual observation.

yes,due to shortage of TTE's they are not coming to reservation coaches i have personally experienced it....
