Is it true that one can buy a open ticket with a sleeper class fare and travel in the sleeper class coach during day time.... does travelling so attract any fine? Please advise. Train - 6526 - Tirupur to Palakkad. Thanks.
Yes, you can board a sleeper coach witha sleeper class unreserved ticket. But it does not entitle you for a berth. Please also check for super fast charges, if any.
who will issue such a ticket and what we have to tell them to print ticket.
Go to General (Unreserved) Ticket Counter & ask him Sleeper Unreserved Ticket.
It is same as unreserved but SL & Fare mentioned!!
TTE will alot u berth (if vacant) against it, without any extra charge/fine.
