That was the original route of its predecessor, the Upper India Express.
Yes, the extended train biweekly to Delhi, will have a separate number.
Even if you take 16 hours for BSB-DLI on the lines of KV, it'll reach DLI at 2 and will have to leave at 5. How on earth can they manage such a small buffer on one end of such a long distance train?
