any idea if i can get benifit of break journey ticket for booking in same train
i wanted a mumbai bangalore ticket which is in heavy waiting list
but cstm to gulbarga and gulbarga to bangalore is available
can i book onward ticket for this

I am not sure, think it you cant avail but please wait for what the experts have to say.
You can not get break journey benefit for the same train. You are taking the next day train from GR then you can get the benefit.
