Can anyone clear my doubt..? What Link Express exactly mean.. How they link with other train..???
Link express means a part of the original train will get detached at a junction and will depart to some other destination different from that of original train.
for example... Dehradun/Chandigarh-Chennai Express (Chandigarh-Chennai is the link express here)
The train from Chandigarh gets merged with dehradun-chennai express at sahranpur jn and then the train moves to chennai.

So Chandigarh-Dehradun is a separate exp which gets linked with Chandigarh Chennai exp..?
no. chandigarh-chennai is a separate train.... actually a link express which gets merged/demerged with Dehradun-Chennai Express at Saharanpur Jn
