The 1.8 Kilometers long Hardinge bridge over the Padma river, on privious Calcutta ( Sealdah ) - siliguri railway line. It was built in 1912 by British engineer Sir Robert Gailes and named after Lord Hardinge; the Viceroy of India from 1910 to 1916. The bridge connects Paksey and Bheramara stations on the broad gauge railway ..
