What is this "success rate" and "Gold, Silver, and Bronze" categories on IRCTC booking PG? What does it mean and how the categories have been arrived at?

I was also surprised to see CITIBANK getting the bronze as I have always had better experiences with CB PG than ICICI. That was why I was left wondering how they arrived at the success it. I have been searching for an explanation on IRCTC website but could not find it.
agree. I always got a harrowing time with HDFC netbanking and credit cards before I switched to SBI Netbanking. And I have not failed in any transaction ever since. However Tatkal I have booked just once.
I have so many failed transactions with "gold success rate" and all are successful with "bronze success rate".
The failed ones are with most popular SBI NB and success with CITI credit card. Citi credit card is no more avbl in irctc

Its not only pertaining to ones success rate but the overall picture,HDFC given Gold but it failed many a time for me...
