Dear Members, please go through the attached shots, which reveal the Prime & Core portion of Prestigious Pamban Bridge, which will be lifted up on either sides to make the passage for the entry & exit of ships for crossing across the Gulf Of Mannar area. This Pamban Bridge is called as the "Mother Of All Bridges" & made a century ago during the British Regime. It is still the pride of Indian Railways since made on sea with challenging task due all time prevailing rough weather conditions.Even though Indian Railways made many bridges on land & across big rivers later after this Pamban Bridge, none of them will stand at par with this as famous and as majestic.
