The MP's of TAMILNADU "all together" met the RM and request to take necessary action to run this train daily.The THIRUKKURAL exp introduced in the year 2002 and till now its runs weekly once only even though in the last Rly. budget it was announced bi-weekly.
THIRUKKURAL exp links southern dist. of TAMILNADU with National capital. It benefits people of DINDUKAL, MADURAI, VIRUDUNAGAR, THIRUNELVELI, TUTICORIN, and KANYAKUMARI dist., TAMILNADU based defense people and more than 15 lakhs TAMIL people living in North INDIA and DELHI. They also requested the RM to change the Dep. time at NZM to evening and to announce regarding these in this parliamentary session itself.

In the same slot, the rest of the week is occupied. They should have at least the TT before approaching.
Just have a look at todays Dinnamalar, 'tamilaga mp -kal kuttaka' It is a welcome note.
after railway budget passed now they are demanding this request,it's not an appreciable note on feb 26th what they did for TN???
i know it sandyji if common people demands at any time apart from railway budget there should be some meaning in it but MP's have an power but they dint used for people's demands,for tamilnadu this railway budget has more trains announced by the request of politicians then what they did at that time??? the trains are Mannargudi-coimbatore daily exp,puducherry-kanyakkumari weekly exp,chennai-karaikkudi weekly exp,pallavan exp from tiruchi extended to karaikkudi mangalore-tiruchi exp extension to puducherry but they dint pleaded for increasing freq of thirukkural exp from biweekly-daily....
