Railway Minister Announces Introduction of New Additional Trains on South Central Railway
While replying to discussion on the Railway Budget 2013-14 in Lok Sabha today, Shri Pawan Kumar Bansal, Hon’ble Minister of Railways announced introduction of new additional trains. The list of new additional trains to be introduced on South Central Railway is given below:
A) Introduction of New Trains (Originating):

B) Introduction of New Trains (Passing Through):
1. Hatia (Ranchi) – Yesvantpur Express (Weekly)
2. Mumbai – Karaikal (For Velankanni) Express (Weekly) via Chennai, Nagapattinam
C) Increase in frequency of Trains:
1. The frequency of Train No. 12761/12762 Karimnagar – Tirupati Express will be increased from one day a week to two days a week.
2. The frequency of Mangalore-Kacheguda Express (Weekly) announced in Railway Budget 2013-14 will be increased from one day a week to two days a week.
D) Routing of Trains:
1. The frequency of Train No. 17213/17214 Narsapur-Nagarsol (Near Sainagar Shirdi) Express Announced in Railway Budget 2013-14 will be increased from three days a week to daily.
The train will run via Guntur, Nadikudi, Nalgonda and Secunderabad for two days a week and via the original route i.e., Kazipet and Secunderabad for remaining five days of the week.
2. Kakinada-Mumbai Express (Weekly) announced in Railway Budget 2013-14 will be run via Guntur-Nadikudi- Nalgonda and Bibinagar.
