One of the beauties of Indian Railways having open doors is that photos such as this are so much easier. Here the Rameswaram to Chennai Express passes the signal protecting the Pambam Bridge, silhoetted against the setting sun.

It is the SIGNAL POST not only for giving signal regarding route clear, etc . It gives green signal depends upon the wind speed which is with in specified limit or not and about the route clear.It is totally different from other signals of IR.
