Dear #Admin / #Moderator,
Please see the train numbers 01015 and 01016 on this site. These trains are weekly SF summer special trains between LTT and JHS. When I search for train number 01015 on this site, it shows Mumbai LTT - Shirdi - Solapur weekly special. when I click on it, the correct train (LTT-JHS weekly SF summer special). When I click on the return journey train number 01016, I get train information of Solapur - Shirdi - Mumbai LTT weekly special.

If the TT for the return train 01016 is not available, same can be displayed instead of showing a TT of another train.
Confusion can be cleared with putting these words, "TT for train 01016 is not available as of now" in the TT page.

TT of 01016 which you see is an old TT of another Special. It is logically not possible to erase the TT since it may come handy to Admins to update a separate TT for future use.
I agree. It can be archived since it is old TT for another special. But no two trains have the same number.

So, if there is no TT available for 01016, it should be clearly mentioned. And, old TT for another special (Solapur - Shirdi - LTT) should be archived and be made available to admins for reference purpose.

You have mentioned the positive side that there are enough chances for a general use to get confused. On the other hand, some users may find it useful to go through the old timings followed by IR to run a train against a specific route.
The TT's which you see been updated for the special trains are mostly taken from the previous specials which has run in the same route against the same/different number.
To find an amicable solution, #Moderator Sir may display #CancelledTrains against a different sub-tab for Non-Admins.
