Wow! great news for SERailway , brand new WAP-7 spotted at Bankura Jn. , yet to be given a shed may be Kharagpur or Santragachi. Kharagpur has better chance. Don't know the exact reason it is standing at Bankura. 2 yrs. ago I spotted WAP-7 at Kharagpur but not operated for SERailway trains.
Meanwhile there are other works going or about to start in Bankura.
1) Construction of 2 ROB at level crossing at Bankura and Bishnupur. The work for Bankura has started going at fast pace.

Construction of PF no.3 at UP main line to be done confirmed by DRM.
3) New waiting hall and AC retiring room - painting yet to be done.
4) One can see at big Junction station like - Kharagpur, Tata, Asansol , Adra etc. water pipeline alongside Platform used to wash coaches or fill water is done at Bankura on PF no.2.
