Well I agree, It’s very difficult to get reservation in this train. Even after introduction of many HWH bound train ( BPL – HWH, Shipra, Shaktipunj express etc etc) which passes through JBP, ET, KTE, STE, this train is first choice for all the passengers. It reminds me of my childhood days when my Bengali friends use to tell me that its very very difficult to go to Kolkata from jbp or kte as its impossible to get ticket in Howrah mail.. ( as Shipra, Shatipunj etc were introduced very later)
But with due to course of time, this train is losing its charm, cleanliness, punctuality and maintaince for this train has went down to a very low level. Today only...
