Fehmida Hazrat 15 blog postsWas this train announced on the rescheduled/cancelled train's list... this is leaving mumbai 13 hours late now... and there was no sms.. they should have sent a sms or email atleast... my parents are on station already to catch the train..

Its running worse than a passenger in Ald-Mgs section as all the other trains in that section are suffering. Usually this train delays around 5-6 hrs in that 153 kms stretch only and then when it reaches Hwh it is rescheduled, which causes delay in its other journey and delays keep compounding in more journeys and cases like this occur.. I think the officials on duty are sleeping and feasting on public money..
This train is always known for running late...
It left from Howrah late as may be rake at Howrah arrived late as Allahabad - Mughal Sarai section of North Central Railway (N.C.R) is notorious for making trains wait as it's highly congested and it's saturated to full extent...
It would had been nice if you had booked ticket in 12809 HOWRAH MAIL. VIA NGP, as this train is far better than it's counter part 12322 KOLKATA MAIL...

basically a particular rack of this trains has been running late by 17 hrs n the railways have only one option to i.e cancel one of its trips which won't be easy for a run which runs daily
