No rake sharing arrangement. Earlier there was only one rake but now 2 rakes have been pressed into service following its extension from Bhubaneswar to Puri.

Journey time is around 8 to 9hrs
Idle time of each rake is 16hrs
More maintenace and less running on trackss
Here plenty of coaches and no shortage of rakes for EAST COAST RAILWAY
