Please make it to 80 from 72.

कोंकण रेलवे को बनाने के लिए निर्धारित समय से अधिक समय तथा अधिक धन लगा था । इसलिए यहाँ अधिक चार्ज लिया जाता है । लेकिन समय की बचत को देखते हुये यह कोई ज्यादा नहीं है ।
other than this, the route of konkan railway is full of terrains and the power applied by the deisel engine to pull the train is more than normal trains running on plains ,hnece more energy consumption.
moreover , the maintenance requirements (tracks/route boulders' nets etc.)of KR are much higher than anyother railway

Mumbai CST Madgaon is 765km (chargeable distance) 588km real distance not 546.
You can’t add 40% more between Mumbai CST and junction of Central Railway & Konkon Railway Corporation as this part is not under Konkon Railway Corporation.But you must add 40 % more between junction of Central Railway & Konkon Railway Corporation and the place just 1 or ½ km after Surathkal which is another end point of Konkon Rly. in reality this train runs at 55-60 kmph speed, not 70 or 80!!
