This trains always has a habit of running minimum of 1 hour late till Madgaon / Karwar n thereon due to slack it makes up time by reaching MAJN on time or a few minutes late.

The major reason I think is its insufficient time given for run between CSTM - TNA - PNVL belt. It gets just 63 minutes as against minimum required of 75 minutes due to crossings at CSTM, DIVA n PNVL. It gets delayed here by around 15 minutes triggering a chain of delays as it

I think, it should depart at 21.55 hours instead of 22.15 hours, just after Hussainsagar which departs at 21.50 hours so that it reaches TNA by 22.35 n PNVL by 23.20. Meanwhile 21.58 KP aka Khopoli bound fast EMU can start at 22.02 from CST. This change will get uninterrupted run for this SF train n it can maintain its TT.

No it cant happen because there is a Khopoli local at 21:58 which reaches Karjat at 23:53 and very soon after 15 mins Ltt - Coimbatore arrives at Karjat and Siddheshwar also follows it.

Possible bcoz LTT Coimbatore arrives Karjat at 00.07 hours followed by Siddeshwar at 00.32 hours. 22.58 Khopoli Local reaches Karjat at 23:53 and with 4 min delay it will reach at 23:57, 10 minutes before LTT CBE express...

Got a reply from CR stating that it runs directly from CSTM to Thane without any halt in contrast to the fast trains having halts at 4 stations. There is no proposal for attaching LHB coaches due to limited supply by the board.
