I think this could have been extended till Mysore, because since Mysore is a tourist place Bangalore and Mysore both would be benefited.Anyways how many RPM WAP 7 has been produced till date. Because 4 days ago I saw one in Allepey-Chennai Express 16042. There might be less chances that they use WAP 7 for it. Because they could have used it for Madurai and TVC Duronto as well. Nowadays I do not see WAP 7 in Coimbatore Duronto it will be either GZB WAP 1 OR RPM WAP 4.Instead 12680 will be getting WAP 7.

Already Chennai-Mysore Shatabdi was running 60% occupancy on the SBC-MYS route then why extend this one to Mysore...........Already 3 daily trains/1 weekly train are extended in this budget to mysore . I doubt whether all the 4 trains will get patronization in the SBC-MYS section.........
