Hi all,
The Railways have revised there Reservation Charges, Supplementary charges for Super-fast trains & Clerkage charges etc. which is in effect from 1 April 2013. I have a question if a ticket is booked before 1 April 2013 for a journey in May 2013 will the TTE collect the excess fare on the train or it is applicable only on the bookings which is made after 1 April 2013?

The answer in 'NO' . It should be applicable only on the bookings made after 1 April 2013.
NO nothing would be collected since tickets already booked and its not the basic fare increase unlike the one which was increased on 22nd JAN...there TTE was entitled to collect the difference..but here only surcharges have being amended..so no need to pay any difference...!!!!
