Passengers opposes to make Solapur - Kolhapur Express overnight. I thinks this TT is OK for train with sleeper coaches. But CR must start another daily Superfast intercity train to Kolhapur. The timings should be as follows: Solapur Dep.:6am Kolhapur Arr.:11am and Kolhapur Dep. 4.30pm and Solapur Arr. 9.30pm on the same day. Haults will be only at Miraj, Sangola, Pandharpur & Kurduwadi.

like in case of rsa between mandovi n konkankanya, kk runs overnite n has sl coaches, whereas wen da same coaches r used for mandovi, some of the SL coaches r used as reserved 2S coaches having 8 seats+2 side per berth instead of 6+2 as in SL coaches n passengers r charged according 2 rates of 2S...

If passengers are charged according to rates of 2S for sleeper of Solapur - Kolhapur Express during day journey, then I sure all the sleeper coaches will be full. Giving Rs.15 more is not a big problem, rather than giving double of fare for sleeper.

I had never know this one before. Really its a great idea. Must be implemented in 11051/52 for day journey.
yes this is a practical solution even i had a thought about this..why IR cant uses SLP coaches as 2S reservations for day journey..thus it would earn more revenue ..
