Vijayan Anikkad 14 blog postsI have a 1A ticket (PNR 2244893039) by 12424 rajdhani from NDLS to NJP. This is an E-ticket and wait listed 1 &2. I would like to have the boarding station changed to Kanpur Central. However, the Counter clerk says that Boarding change can be done only for confirmed e-tickets. Is it so? Boarding change is allowed only 24 hours before departure of the Train. By the time the ticket gets confirmed, it will be too late for Boarding change !!!!
no its not so. wl e tkts are also eligible for BP change. try meeting resvn superviser. if nt ask the clerk to give it in writing with the stamp and signature in full. many a times this helps in BP change.
Thank you for the prompt reply. If he still refuses, is there any Rule that I can show him.
