I think he train shuld operate on different days to different parts of maharashtra.
Day 1 : it shud run upto Bandra and slip coaches upto ratnagiri
Day 2: it shud run via bhopal - Manmad - latur kurduwadi. Here the train cud split with one end going to solapur and the other to Kolhapur via PVR

still run via WR and come to pune and split at Kurduwadi into 3 parts one towrds solapur, one to Latur and the last kolhapur via pvr (All new tracks get a new connection and solpaur gets an alternate train to delhi apart from Karnatak express.). So personally my favorite option. Though much harder to coordinate 3 slip services.
Day 3: via WR Surat, Bhusawal where the train can split into two both going to nanded, aurangabd an the other via washim hingoli. But i bet sachkand and the other nanded sriganganagar train will be faster distance wise. Alternately thay can run this service on CR via BPL.
OR bpl ngp to gondia and slip to nanded via akola
