One of my silly, desperate friend is travelling in Swaraj Exp. today from NZM to Ratlam, in Gen class, without any ticket, even Gen.......completely without ticket for lack of time.....now he is asking me what would be the approx fine amount...if he would be caught?.....Plz help me in finding the answer,i.e. fine amount......poor guy...I severely rebuked him.....

my friend was fined like this when he lost his ticket while travelling in train.
and the TTE said this was the way they fine...
The train's orginal fare from End to end for both UP and Down in the class caught.. ( thats the multiplication factor) and then the orginal charges

i don't know the exact fine amount. but i can tell you my story.
my father was travelling in Tamilnadu Exp from Gwalior to Bhopal (distance restriction applicable) with gen ticket. but he was caught at Bhopal and was fined 400 rs.

When the TTE has his chart why did he go for Android?

The chart with TTE will have all the details of confirmed, RAC, WL final position and if intermediate Quotas, then respective charts from the same station will be given to the TTE. So why he went for Androind?
Also if a WL person is given Seat, then that details will be...

Lower case is what you dont type in capital letters: like.. asdghjkl
Upper case is what you type in capital letters: like ..ASDGHJKL

I think he was some local TTE, having power to check short distance tickets...but I am not sure...
