This is a pure LHB rake of SC-LTT duronto being run as SC-LTT AC special, earlier this special ran with more or less similar timings of SC-LTT Duronto but the timings now are crazy with a lot of slcak, Runs slower coz of irregular TT!!
Apart from the TT, the speed of the train would not be slow while moving but it would have longer stops to give way to every other regular train as they would have preference over specials..Also look at the average delay at PUNE, departs more or less around 02:30 on an average!
I know tat it runs very fast between the station but it should nt be so slow. Duranto takes 12 hr. This special train should hav taken 14 hrs tats agreeable. But it takes more time than a normal
Thats because Normal trains are given preference over special trains when it comes to crossings or overtakings..This is held to give way to Scheduled normal trains!!

All the regular daily trains on the PUNE-SUR route overtakes this train.. Since its special it is given least priority. 7 hours for PUNE-SUR is dead slow!!
