And if u have a look at the halts in Kerala of 16041/42 in kerala, this is the only train which serves majority of the stations to chennai in its route.

personally seen the rush for this train in Kerala from ur suggested useless stops?
Also, this is always my preferred train to Chennai and back, and every time, I've hardly seen anyone using this train from PTJ in past, and now even from CBE there are hardly very very few taking this train. Then for the sake of there 5 or 10 passengers, is this diversion done?
Do you know, last time I was onboard 16042, the LPs itself were telling me, that stop has screwed up their resting time too at ED. it always tails cheran and gets delayed.
We reached everywhere before time that day, even reached CBE by 22.15. And finally we made it to ED by 00.45 only!! All thanks to Cheran ahead.
