ayusshr 546 blog posts2 days back i went to vadodara station to book a prs ticket and there was a lady standing ahead of me..she wanted to book a ticket from bct to brc in 2S in karnavati express for a date mstly in 1st week of may..it was wl 20 and the lady asked the reservation clerk about the confirmation..Rather than replying her about the situation he was busy advertising DD and literally forced her to book the ticket in CC of DD..And eventually that lady ended up booking her ticket in DD rather than 2S of karnavati..These days even trains need to be promoted on large basis :p

The PRS wala is "legally" doing advt. Look @ SR. It stripped of CC coaches for Brindavan.
Such enquiries should be made in ENQUIRY counter.

That lady could not as there is no enquiry counter in that booking office..
And in any case there was no queue..it was just me after her and i had no problem what so ever..Because i knew i will get the ticket in ane case..I was just laughing standing over there looking at the way he was showcasing DD..I was thinking that till now movies and products needed promotion but now even trains do..
its nothing wrong in promoting new trains.... esp. like DDs.... infact i think railway authorities shud put one small counter promoting new trains as well as any new facilities in railways so dat people get aware abt new things around dem...
