This TVC Rajdhani is suffering due to poor decision of the railways. This Rajdhani have worst food quality and poor service. Due to Konkan route the food availability is an issue.Pantry staff is Idiot why cannot they run via Bhopal,where from TVC to NIZAMUDDIN it can run with WAP 7 RPM loco with increased speed.The food quality on that route is also good.Chennai Rajdhani is running with Average speed of 77 km/hr and this Rajdhani even less than 70. Bangalore Rajdhani is far better than this Rajdhani .

TVC raj is the 4 fastest train with average of 80 kmph on NZM-BSR sector.And it averages 97 kmph on KR route(87 kmph in monsoon) only it has less speed in MAO-TVC sector(MPS is less than 110) plus it runs on single non electrified route for more than 1000 kms and has slack timings of more than 2 hours.Of course,Banglore raj is very good but it runs on route where MPS is 130.Also it can be compared to BCT raj(just look at speed,timings and not pantry and monsoon).
My point is under no cirumstances is TVC raj a bad train.I suggest you to travel in these train once(atleast KR route).It one of the best rajdhanis in india.
