My ticket is booked from HWH to CSTM on 20/10/2010 with departure at 8:20 hours.
I am from TATA & wud really like to board the train from TATA during the technical halt. I wud like confirmation on foll:
1) Whether this is fine & that my ticket wud still be valid when I board from TATA

It will be risky to board the duronto train from technical halt because TTE will allot the berth to the wait listed passenger on your no show.
For your Q 1)-Ans is NO!!
Rest points are not admissible.
Please board at HWH or your birth will lost to some other RAC/WL passenger.

Based on this I have made the decision to first travel from TATA to HWH and then travel thru the same route back to TATA, this time on the duronto and onwards to Mumbai. This really sucks yaar. I really wish I could board the train from TATA.
I have taken a 3rd AC ticket. Still its not allowed right? I mean is there some number where I could call and tell the railways that I wud board from TATA and that my ticket should not...
