I had gone to Khadki on a very hot noon just to take the video of this weekly Garib Rath express, but unfortunately could not take it, as the train came to an unscheduled halt at KK. 15 minutes early running JP-YPR 06512 Garib Rath special with a deadly off-link - 1st WDM-3D of India - ED WDM-3D 11101. The first five WDM-3D produced in India were allocated to the SWR's KJM shed, but were later transferred to SR's Erode shed. Here is the sequence of events at Khadki, picture wise :
1) Crazily honking ED-WD3D#11101 comes down at a very good speed only to find a red signal at the far end of Khadki station.

It slows down and stands just in front of me
3) 10 minuts later, it gets a green signal and it starts smoking
4) WDM3D chugs beautifully even as the LP gives me a long stare as the train accelerates past me :D
5) Garib Rath slowly loves away from me, as i watch in sadness being unable to take a video of this blasting at MPS!!
