I recently traveled in 18478 Kalinga Utkal express and there was another menu card pasted near every window with IRCTC price list for breakfast,lunch and dinner. In that the dinner and lunch was Rs 80 for Veg, Rs 90 for Non-veg.Still the vendor was asking for 100 Rs for veg and non-veg both. When asked to take me to the manager on board he said "Sir hamare paas wo 60 rupaye wala lunch bhi hai agar aapko wo chahiye to btao.daam bad gye hai sir." So please tell which one to believe. I know this price list and i remember the exact price as well but what to do when they are asking for such a huge difference in food with just addition of one item in the food and with least quality...!!!
I think welcome drink is for pass boarding before lunch say around 10 hours or around evening.....

I used to travel from SC to NZM and I didn't get welcome drink at any time. Directly getting breakfast.
