Grievance Description : As a Citizen of India I hereby submit my grievance to the Board for necessary action. The Railway station at Perungalathur Next to Tambaram its a Chennai city Entry point where approximately 5000 to 10000 person use this Railway station to Travel to various stations but the atmosphere of this station, the Poor Maintenance of Platform, No Drinking Water, No Toilet Facility(Closed Toilet )with poor sanitation Accidents occur frequently in Perungalathur Railway stations due to non availability of Overbridge, sub- way to enable the public to cross the railway tracks necessary facility may be implemented by the Railway Authorities.

Details : It is to state that, it is a flag-station. The over bridge cannot be provided to this station. The LC no.32 in the middle of the platform and the LC no.33 at the end of the platform serves the purpose of foot path. As the foot path is available, separate over bridge is not required. The taps in the platforms are removed/taken by the antisocial elements and the same has since been provided. The key of the toilets is available with clerk incharge and the needy passengers can utilize on demand. We assure you to serve better always.
