Reasons for people in Rayalaseema preferring Bus to Train apart from those in GTL-RU route.
4 districts, 5 major cities. ATP, KRNT, HX, CTO, TPTY
Connectivity Issue:
1. ATP - HX (Road 165 kms, Rail, 212 kms) ( No Direct train) If I travel by bus, I reach in 3.5 hrs. If I Travel by train, I have to make a transfer at...

I can understand your need and ATP being my grandmama's place its like a second home. But you have to understand that in whole of ralayaseema only TPTY & SSPN has pit lines for maintenance of rake. MG pit lines which were there at GTL have been removed. SO it is practically not feasible to run trains between other stations. Also the pit at TPTY is over saturated with so many trains having their primary maintenance there. SWR is not keen on maintaining rake at SSPN as it has to mobilize staff which it is already short off. YPR/SBC being only 100 kms from HUP is the most appropriate place to start and maintain the rake. SO i suggested a ICE between SBC/YPR-KCG/SC. Since ATP-HX is not connected directly it will not have a direct intercity. Again due to staff shortage SCR is not introducing many trains in DMM-PAK section. These...
