Partially Confirmed PNRs of IR. I wish you obtain the clarification of your esteemed self. As per IR Ticketing Rules, “If on one PNR there is more than one passenger if atleast 1 passenger is having confirmed / RAC status and the rest are on waiting list, the names of all the passengers booked on such PNR will appear on the chart….” And for those whose PNRS are fully Wait Listed their names will be dropped from chart. In this case I wish to seek clarifications on the following:

1.Can a Partially Wait listed Passenger travel? If yes on what Terms Conditions? If the co passenger does not object will he be still allowed to travel?
2.In case the Partially Waitlisted PNR happens to be in 1A/2A/3A/EC of premier trains like Rajdhani / Shatabdi/ Duronto Express, are there any different rules and procedures applied or can the Partially Wait listed person still travel?
3.In case the passenger is not allowed, what is the option available to him/her to travel with his co passengers booked in same PNR?
