How far is Howrah Station from Shalimar and what's the best way to travel from Shalimar to Howrah???and how far is the airport from Howrah??? First time visitor......need help!! and are there any budget hotels close to howrah??

Sir as you suggested.I should use Metro to get to get to shyambazar and then do as you mentioned so what about going to BEHALA.Any local trains that i can make use of or is the metro available on that route or should i travel by bus??
well, for barasat and belghoria you go to the first destination (either barasat or belghoria) and then take Bus Route No. DN 2 to get to the other.
for behala you can take a taxi to Behala from Esplanade or take buses on route 12C/1A, 12D, Sakherbazar Mini, Diamond Park Mini from Esplanade.
