1A and FC - 1A is air conditioned while FC is not.
EC and CC - EC has 2*2 seating arrangement while CC has 3*2 arrangement. EC is found only in Shatabdi trains.

EC is Executive class (1st AC chair car)
CC is AC chair car.

To add to that, AC and CC, both are air conditioned. 2S is non airconditioned 3*3 seating found in most intercity trains.
