Union Minister of State for Railways Kotla Jayasuryaprakasa Reddy has said an amount of Rs. 5 crore has been sanctioned for construction of the fourth platform at Kurnool railway station.
Addressing a meeting in connection with the inspection of site for construction of second gate at the railway station from Venkata Ramana Colony side on Saturday, he said on the other side a booking counter, parking and other amenities would come up.
He said efforts were on to introduce the express train between Kurnool and Secunderabad which would be treated as inter-city train...

5 Cr for pf 4 and all for a Shtb is somewhat the news says.
